This week I live streamed our Dungeons and Dragons session. I originally wanted to use Youtube but they have restrictions on who can live stream from a mobile device. For live streaming from mobile Youtube requires that you have 1000 subscribers to your channel. I then decided to use Facebook live. This was much simpler to stream but it was a little more difficult to share off of Facebook than a Youtube video is. I needed to modify the privacy settings several times before I found the right way to get things done.

I am quite happy with the result and am interested in seeing if there are easier ways to livestream. Privacy is a concern with this though as Facebook doesn’t allow a more nuanced privacy settings.
